Errol — the South London-based DJ, writer and Boiler Room host/programmer — has quickly found his groove. Despite less than two years behind the decks, the 24-year-old founder of offline club night and NTS Radio mainstays, Touching Bass, is building a reputation as a promising selector. Sets come regularly peppered with soulful rhythms, unbounded by genre and picked with the sole purpose of making people dance and feel.
On top of regular sessions across London, 2016 saw his debut appearance at Croatia’s Dimensions Festival and the start of an ongoing Touching Bass residency at London’s audiophile haven, Brilliant Corners. The spot has become open grounds for exploring weird and wonderful, non-club sounds with residents and extended family every month. 2017 also takes things to progressive new heights along with the venue with a non-alcoholic policy and engaging Q&A sessions with key musical figures alongside the sessions. All in the name of the best sonic experience.
In other words, plenty to keep him busy for the next twelve months. Keep an eye out for him, and expect riddims aimed right at the hips and heart.
